Welcome to LightMyTesla. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services ("Services"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services. We may modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Services after any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

Description of Service

LightMyTesla provides a platform that allows users to:

• Convert MP3 audio files into Tesla-compatible light show packages
• Generate AI-powered music and convert it to light shows (AI Studio)
• Browse and discover community-created light shows (Explore)
• Download light show packages for use with Tesla vehicles

Our Services are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Tesla, Inc. "Tesla" is a trademark of Tesla, Inc.

User Accounts

To access certain features of our Services, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Not share your account credentials with others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Payment Terms

Our Services use a credit-based system called "Bolts":

• Free Tier (Test Drive): New users receive 8 Bolts for free (lifetime)
• Subscription Plans: Monthly subscriptions provide additional Bolts that reset each billing cycle
• Supercharger Packs: One-time purchases of Bolts that never expire

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds will be provided for partial months. Unused subscription Bolts expire at the end of each billing cycle.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload or create using our Services. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content as necessary to provide our Services.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the content you upload
• Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Your content does not violate any applicable laws or regulations

Note: Content uploaded through "My Song" remains private. Only AI Studio content that you explicitly mark as "Public" will be visible on the Explore page.

Intellectual Property

Our Services, including our website, logos, software, and content created by us, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services without our prior written consent.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our Services to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of our Services
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from our Services without permission
• Use our Services for any illegal or fraudulent purpose

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIGHTMYTESLA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY CONTENT OR INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH OUR SERVICES.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LightMyTesla and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our Services or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings. Account termination does not entitle you to any refunds for unused Bolts or subscription fees.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be resolved in the courts located in California.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
